Registration for the 2021-2022 School Year


New Students/Kindergarten without pre-registration:

If you are new student to the district; or are returning, and have not been enrolled within the past year, please go here to fill out the new pre-registration form. After entering your basic information, you will receive an email in the summer to complete registration during  the online registration period beginning July 1, 2021.

Returning students/pre-registered Kindergarteners for the 2021-2022 School Year:

You will receive an email with instructions to set up a new portal account for Unit 40's new information system, Infinite Campus the week of July 6th, 2021. you will also receive an invitation to complete registration for your existing students inside of the new parent portal. You will have the option of adding new students during this registration period if you have a student who is new to the district, or was not enrolled at Unit 40 during the 2020-21 school year. Once you have created a new account, use the Campus Parent Portal Login, which can also be found in the right column of this page.

All Students:


Links to all necessary documentation can be found to right. Please upload any documents you have through the new parent portal. If you upload your document by taking a picture on your mobile device, please ensure that all information is legible and visible in the picture. If we receive incomplete/unreadable documentation, you will be asked to re-upload. 
Registration fees for all students grades K-12 will be available in the new parent portal within 2 weeks of school starting. Beginning  this year, you will be able to pay for your registration fees in the same place where you complete registration. This is so that course fees can be added in September, after schedule changes have been made and schedules have been confirmed. Contact your building to arrange payment via check, cash or credit in person. 
Schedules will be available in the parent portal approximately 1 week before the first day of school. 

You will receive a letter from the transportation director with your busing information in August before school starts. Please register you child as soon as possible to prevent delays in receiving your bussing information.


Registration can be completed from any computer with access to the web, as well as any mobile device with a browser. If you do not have access to a device with internet access, there are computers available at the Effingham Public Library.
